Our Mission
Jumpstart tutoring believes that education should be accessible and affordable for everyone. We connect tutors from all over the world to students in need of extra academic help. Tutoring is completely free and student-led. This organization prioritizes the safety of both its tutors and students.
How it works
Jumpstart Tutoring is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that is composed of hardworking, high achieving high school and college students that want to help you! Students sign up for specific subjects they need tutoring in through this website. After this is done, an outreach manager will contact the student and pair them up with a tutor. From that point on, the tutor and the student will create their own schedule and have personalized one-on-one meetings independently. Meetings can be held on any social media, but Discord is recommended. Lesson material can be provided from Jumpstart, but tutors can create their own lessons and curriculums if preferred.
About us
An unfortunate reality of public schooling is the lack of adequate help students receive from their school. We want to provide every student the opportunity to learn more while bridging the economic gap by providing a free way for all students to receive the help they deserve. The organization is currently operated on multiple social media sites to allow for easy accessibility and maintaining social distancing.
